First note: the primary surrounding background is .main-inner (not main-outer).
This is bluish purple.
second note: the .main-outer is the very thin and somewhat dark which surrounds main-inner
third note: I recommend keeping the linear gradient invisible for main-outer for a while.
the reason is because main-outer affects the color scheme of main-inner.
This has probably caused some unexplained glitches in the past.
It seemed impossible to fix these problems. The reason is because both backdrops affect each-other.
